Who we are
Continuum FD ("we", "us") provides practice management software for independent UK funeral directors. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, continuumfd.com.
What we collect
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, business name, email address, phone number (if given), funeral volume, enquiry type, and any other details you choose to share (such as crematoria used, funeral plan provider, or current software).
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo or trial;
- To understand your practice's needs so we can tailor our response;
- To follow up about Continuum FD, including beta updates, where relevant to your enquiry.
Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries from businesses, and, where you proceed with a trial or subscription, to perform our contract with you.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain a record of our business relationship, or until you ask us to delete it.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and does not track you across other sites. It uses one small piece of local browser storage to remember that you've seen our cookie notice, so it doesn't show again on your next visit — this is strictly functional and not used to identify or track you.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser making a request to Google's servers and sharing your IP address as part of that request.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your data. When you submit our enquiry form, your details (name, business name, email, and anything else you provide) are sent to and processed by Formspree, Inc., our form-handling provider, so that we can receive and respond to your enquiry. Formspree is based in the United States and processes this data as our data processor under Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not share your data with any other third party except where required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict our processing of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@continuumfd.com.
The Continuum FD platform
This policy covers our marketing website only. If your practice becomes a Continuum FD customer, the platform itself will process personal data about the deceased and their families on your behalf, under a separate agreement in which your practice remains the data controller and Continuum FD acts as data processor. Details of that arrangement will be provided separately as part of onboarding.
